During his third year, Matt clerked for the Los Alamos National Laboratory, Office of Legal Counsel. Since graduation, Matt has spent his entire career in Carlsbad, with the exception of a sabbatical in 1997. During that sabbatical, Matt spent six months in Pennsylvania. He is admitted to the State and Federal Bars of New Mexico, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Tax Court, and the State Bar of Pennsylvania. Matt has a general practice, including insurance defense, commercial litigation, wills, trusts, probate, workers' compensation, and personal injury law. Matt has been honored to be included in Marquis Who's Who in American Law since 1994, and Who's Who in America since 1996. He is a member of the American Bar Association, past president of the Eddy County Bar Association, and has served on the United Way Board of Directors and as legal counsel for Carlsbad Renaissance, a group that helps students throughout the Carlsbad Schools. Terri Andersen graduated from International Business College in El Paso, Texas. She has worked as a legal secretary in Phoenix, Arizona, with the firm of Ely, Bettini, and Ulman. She brought her talents to the firm in October 2001. Terri focuses on the domestic relations Personal Injury, and general litigation areas of the firm. Having served as a missionary in Barcelona, Spain, Terri learned Spanish very well. In her spare time, Terri enjoys spending time with her husband of 17 years, David, and her six children, Shana, Jared, Riley, Jordan, Brock, and Dakota.
